Wow! What a surprise! Last night at the first Dallas Professional Photographers Association meeting of the year, my image won First Place in the Scenic Category and the Top Score of the night! The eagle trophy will be sitting proudly in my living room until the next meeting! 😀

What a great week in Austria! The cities were fabulous 🎉, the music was exquisite 🎻, and we finally saw a little snow ❄️. We would love to come back. Auf Wiedersehen! 🇦🇹

We spent the second half of the day in picture-perfect Hallstatt. I have wanted to photograph this town for awhile, and just had to squeeze it in while we were only a few hours away. What a beautiful and charming place! ❤️

We boarded a train before dawn and spent the first half of the day in Salzburg. We toured Mozart’s family home, where he was born; and then learned more about the Von Trapp family Sound of Music World and Villa Trapp, which was home to the real family. 🎶

The Naschmarkt was so much fun! Street food vendors everywhere! We found a cute spot for a meat, cheese, and wine lunch. 🍷
