I was privileged to visit this amazing place three times, most recently in November 2016, and I stared in awe each time I walked into the gorgeous sanctuary. Today, I stared at the television in shock as it burned for hours. My heart breaks for the loss we have all suffered in its historical value, priceless artifacts, and 850 years of architectural masterpiece. I hope President Macron will fulfill his promise to rebuild, but Our Lady of Paris will most likely never be the same. 💔

I ❤️ Ireland! It is such a beautiful country with such nice people. I am ready for some sleep after a whirlwind four days, but I had so much fun. And Josh accomplished what he came to do. Successful trip. We will come back again. 😀
I enjoyed this deliciously European tea a few days ago at Adare Manor.

I took a train to Belfast to enjoy the full Titanic experience. Now I am sitting in the very room where Titanic was designed, down the hall from Thomas Andrews’ office, next to the very spot where she was built, sipping champagne while looking at the gorgeous museum dedicated to her and the 1517 souls lost when she sank. A toast to their memory seems appropriate.

Sometimes a lot of planning and a little luck equals magic. ❤️
It rained all day as my driver took me several other places on my list. We arrived at the Cliffs of Moher in time to set up for sunset … and it was sprinkling, incredibly windy, and bitterly cold. All of a sudden the clouds cleared and the sun appeared to light the cliffs. It was gorgeous!

One day not too long ago …
Josh: Honey, I have to go to Ireland for a work trip. Want to go?
Me: Great! When do we leave? 😀
I packed up the camera gear, made a plan that includes train travel and a car/driver, and off we go!

My years of print competition finally culminated in earning enough merits to receive my Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America. Degree Day was amazing, and I am so glad Josh and my parents were able to join me at Imaging USA in Atlanta and celebrate with me. It is thrilling to finally wear the medallion I worked so hard to earn.

I am so honored to have earned the 2018 Dallas Professional Photographers’ Association Photographer of the Year award! Winning it once was amazing … winning it a second time feels a little surreal. 😀🍾📷
