“Protected” received Honorable Mention in Fusion Art’s “Into the Wild” Exhibition! “A Warrior Shows No Weakness”, “Flirtatious”, “Pretty Please?”, and “The Oracle” were also finalists. 😀 Artists in 17 countries submitted their artworks of various mediums, and 139 pieces were selected for the show.

It is Cherry Blossom season, and the blooms in Washington, D.C., are stunning! 🌸 I have been trying to make a trip to photograph the blossoms for several years (without success due to weather and COVID-19), and was thrilled to see them in full bloom this year!

The results are in from WPPI’s Annual! Three of my images received Silver Awards, and 1 received a Silver Distinction Award! “Protected” won 1ST PLACE in the Portrait Division, Animals + Pets category! These awards also made me one of the newest Associates of WPPI. 😀
