There is so much truth to this. Visiting new places teaches us about other cultures and how to appreciate people and things that are different from our normal daily lives. When I travel, I enjoy meeting people, exploring markets and shops, visiting religion centers, eating the local food, seeing the local plants and animals, and learning about the place’s history.

Heading to Ireland!

So excited to be heading to beautiful Ireland for 10 days! First Class seats should help my sleep deprivation from Wyoming (now if only I had had more time to look through my images). Solar Eclipse 2017

Solar Eclipse Day! Wow! Completely awe-inspiring. I almost forgot what I was doing (photos!) when the sun and moon fully aligned. Our group left the hotel at 1:30 a.m. to get to our preferred location and claim the best spots. Success! Then we watched a beautiful sunrise (in 30 degrees) that made it all worth it. Top it off the with the clouds moving out to reveal the beginning of the eclipse. What a day!!!!

P.S. For those wondering, we had 30 cameras going for our group of 12 people.
